Kristyn Ivey is a graduate of Marymount University’s Masters Interior Design program in Arlington, VA and is Chair of the NEWH Washington DC Metro Internet Communications Committee and Student Affairs Committee co-chair/Historian of the ASID Washington Metro Chapter. Kristyn created an interior design video blog media outlet, kristynivey.com, which encourages students and professionals to get involved with design organizations and events. Recipient of the 2011 ASID Presidential Citation for Distinguished Service to the Society and Profession, Kristyn is excited about leveraging the power of social networking to engage and foster relationships between design students, educators and industry professionals. She continues to lecture on “e-folio Solutions” and personal branding to audiences of design students and faculty in the DC metro area and beyond.
